Ok I have no idea why my xanga is blue and for how long it's been that way. It's about 1:05 on Saturday morning and I felt I had nothing better to do then write a little something. For the last few days I've felt out of it, I'm not getting into the hows and whys, but lets just say it's been a long few days. Today was better though, I went to History (late as always) and had 4 minutes left of the 8 given to take our short test (I think I did pretty well). Anywhoo, after that in my one hour before Health I went to talk to a counselor and figured out how I was to go about getting my real estate license (I guess it's not as complicated as I figured), and how I can't major in what I've been planning to all along... Something about how I'd have to take it at Grossmont for it to be certified, I don't know. I think im in dire need of a career assessment test, it's just weird that I can't figure out what I want to do for the rest of my life so I'm leaving it up to a 30 minute test. Backing up a little, I SO have a new boyfriend haha, while I was walking out of Health this guy who always sits in front of me came up and started a conversation, he walked me to the counseling center which gave us a few minutes to talk... But he's pretty nice, a cool guy. Health was fun as always.... meh... we got out early but other than that same old. Getting out early is a short story on its own, I ran into a gorgeous guy while heading over to Melissa's class. And what's sexier than a hot guy? A hot guy with a southern accent! I was in a good mood today so I gave him a smile and my reward was "hey, how ya doin'?" in the sexiest southern accent I've ever heard. For all of you that don't know... Southwestern has some SEXY guys! So I got Melissa and we headed to my work! YAY! Work was long and my feet still hurt but it's always fun, my manager Elaina bought me subway and has a present for me! woot woot! Random info was I ran into Angel on my way back from lunch, that's a face I haven't seen in like 10 years! It was nice to see someone from Eastlake though, I miss everyone I haven't talked to or don't talk to as often... atleast there's a reunion coming up... I wonder where I'll be... and with that, I say goodnight.

It's odd because I look at my last entry and I realize everything has changed from what I knew and had back then. Since then I started my new job and have been working there almost a month, I started school and am having a great time with the change and the cool new people I'm meeting, I turned 18 (REALLY this time lol), and I just generally feel better as a person. The only downside to my current situation is that I'm not the only one moving on, my friends are too. I know they're not in some big hurry to get away from me, and I'm really happy for them. Some have put themselves out there and started school where they knew no one, some have started awesome new jobs, and some have moved across the country. I just wish there was away to make sure we could all stay friends forever, but I know there isn't.

We just all need some kind of friend reunion lol. But that's something for another day.

I was just thinking about mirrors... I know it's a random subject but stay with me for a second. I think some people have obsessions with them to a greater extent than others. But when you think about it, why do we rely on them so much? Can you talk to them? No, they don't provide a friendship. They can't. They're fake images of real people. They, themselves don't exist. Their sole purpose is to reflect what they see. When I was younger I always thought there could be another world behind that glass. However, what we have to realize is that with mirrors... they physically can't go any deeper. We may want that belief that something else exists in that mirror, to have reason to think you're not standing there alone, but you are. On mirrors you can occasionally find fingerprints, stolen memories of others who's reflections had been viewed, but that doesn't mean they belong to the mirror. Because as I said before, mirrors don't exist. So a question I ask you is: What would happen to a mirror if it had no reflection to steal?

That's enough rambling for one afternoon...
